From January till May, we have destroyed over 4,000 mosquito-breeding spots in the city.”Meanwhile, the BMC has appealed the citizens of Mumbai to get rid of scrap materials like tyres, thermocol boxes, coconut shells and plastic cans as water getsaccumulated in them and they become breeding grounds for the infectious mosquitoes.The BMC also undertook a fumigation drive at over 2,500 under construction sites across the city and assigned wholesale daily necessities injection mold 360 additional insecticide officers for the destruction of breeding spots.
